And his very favorite place to do this is in the crib. He will spend twenty minutes or more pulling himself up to standing and plopping back down…over and over again, to his great delight. It’s clear that he’s really pleased with himself, as he looks at us and squeals every time he gets all the way to standing.
It’s pretty cute. Except at nap times, when the minute we lay his relaxed little body down, he rolls over and starts scootching over to pull himself upright. It’s kind of a problem, but I can’t not laugh…because he goes from basically asleep in my arms to upright and laughing in 4.2 seconds. This boy loves to move.
